Toilet Training

This morning, when we send Weng Yee to school, the teacher suggest that she can start to toilet train her. She thinks that Weng Yee is ready: beginning to talk more. She also said that her classmate had just successfully toilet trained after 1 week.

We are more than happy to hear this. The request from the teacher is to bring more pants to school, and to bring her to the toilet every half an hour at home (make her sit in the toilet, talk to her...).

At night, when we reached home, Mummy bring her to toilet, and she pee on the toilet bowl at once. So far so good. But after that, the momentum was lost. Half an hour later, Mummy ask her if she wants to go to the toilet, she don't want. Another Half an hour later, Mummy ask her if she wants to go to the toilet, she don't want. Daddy feed her orange, and then warn Mummy that she ate orange (she usually shit shortly after taking fruits at night). Mummy ask her if she wants to go to the toilet, she don't want. Then some time later, she shit on her pants.

Mummy seems to forgot what the teacher told her.

Morning, she refused to go to the toilet. Mummy ask her if she wants to go to the toilet, she don't want.

Time to dress up to go to school. Weng Yee was so proud with her panties, she keep wanting to take off her pants and wear panties only. Since she haven't pee since woke up, the chance of her peeing in the car is huge, so Daddy requested to make her wear diaper. So Mummy have to take off her pants and panties, and wear the diaper and panties. After that, she refuse to wear pants or shirt, and keep crying and rolling on the floor, until she pee and some urine leaked to the floor. Another failure.

After washing up in the toilet, Mummy make her wear another dry panties, another 10 minutes to choose and convince her to wear pants. Finally, Mummy took out her favorite Monkey pants for her. She wear it without complain.

Mummy reached school at 6PM, saw Weng Yee just bathed. Teacher said she made Weng Yee sat in the toilet for 5 minutes, no response, then go out, pee in the classroom. The principal said Weng Yee is not ready to toilet train. She suggested that they will train her in the morning and let her wear diaper after the nap.

At night, we let Weng Yee wear her diapers. She pee 2 times, without telling us.

Total failure.

Mummy is very stress.

Thanks to the teachers' persistent training, and also some peer pressure (watching her classmates going to the toilet to pee), Weng Yee start building the habit to pee before bathing in school. Sometimes, she'll tell the teacher that she want to go toilet.

But she still wet her diaper when at home.

When we're in shopping center, she'll point to the toilet sign when she saw it, and we'll bring her in and there is a 50% chance that she'll pee in the toilet.

Out of a sudden, Weng Yee seems to become more intelligent.

Mama brought back her dirty clothes from school, and shock to find that the whole bag of clothes are dry. This means that she really didn't wet her pants in school for the whole week.

Saturday is Toys R Us day. During the trip, papa bring her to the toilet a few times, she really pee in the toilet. But still not 100%. She still wet the diapers.

In the morning, Mama tried again to let Weng Yee go diaperless. Around 11am, she wet her pants while in the living room. Papa hurry bring her to the toilet, she pee again.

In the afternoon, 20 min after the last pee in the toilet, she wet her pants again, in the living room.

In the evening, another disaster happen in the living room.

Other than this 3 accidents, she did tell us when she wants to go to the toilet. When bathing, she said she want to poo poo, sit on the toilet bowl for a few minutes and really shit.

To date, Weng Yee is totally off the diapers for 11 days, except for nap and sleep time. There was only 1 accident occurred when she was too excited for her Mr Potato Head craze at home, that she peed on the chair while waiting for youtube to stream her video.

Also, there was 1 night where she pee on her diaper during sleep, so much that it leaked and wet the floor. Luckily, she was sleeping on the floor, and papa spotted her wet pants.

Disaster day. Weng Yee returns home in the evening from school. Pee on her pants. Cleaned up. Shit on her pants. Cleaned up. After some time, pee on her pants again.

Reached school at 10am. Shortly after, pee on her pants.
